When Are Property Taxes Due in New Jersey?

Pay in person by cash or check, by mail, online through the township's Edmunds portal (card and e-check fees apply), through your bank's bill pay to Township of Cherry Hill, or by phone at the number above with your tax account ID.

Direct debit from a bank account has no fee. After hours, use the black mailbox at the front of Borough Hall, in an envelope marked Tax Office.

Last day to pay this quarter without interest: Tuesday, November 10, 2026.

Open Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM; choose option 3 when you call. Pay in person by cash, check or money order. Debit and credit cards are taken in person, online or by phone (2.95 percent fee), and e-checks online ($1.95 fee). To pay by phone at 1-844-611-4022, call the office first for your PIN. The after-hours drop box in the police department lobby takes checks and money orders only, and payments left there count as received the next business day. A payment has to reach the office by the last day of the grace period; a postmark does not count.

Pay at the cashier before 4:30 PM, online, or by phone at 844-611-4026. A lock box in the vestibule of the Municipal Building is checked Monday to Friday; put your payment in an envelope with the bill.

The township lists the same four due dates and a 10-day grace period that moves to the next open day after a weekend or holiday.

Pay at the tax office drive-up window, online by e-check or card (a service fee applies), or at the after-hours drop box just past the drive-up window, which is credited the next business day. When the 10th falls on a weekend or holiday, the grace period runs to the next business day.
