Places to know. Cooper River Park's rowing course hosts regattas. Petty's Island in the Delaware River is known for nesting bald eagles, and Pennsauken was the site of America's first drive-in movie theater in 1933.
Selling a home. Every one- and two-family home sold in Pennsauken needs a housing resale inspection of the inside and outside, including fire safety, and a Certificate of Inspection before settlement. The Housing Department's report also lists open permits and work done without one, so leave time between the inspection and the settlement date. Rules change, so check with the town before listing.
