Early in-person voting runs Saturday, October 24 through Sunday, November 1, at any site in your county. Here are the hours and where the sites are.

Early voting starts Saturday, October 24, and runs through Sunday, November 1. That's nine days to vote on a machine before Election Day, which is Tuesday, November 3.

The hours, straight from the state:

  • Monday to Saturday: 10 AM to 8 PM.
  • Sunday: 10 AM to 6 PM.

No appointment. And you can use any early voting site in your county, not just the one closest to your house. If the one near work is easier, go there on your lunch break.

Here's where the state's list puts the sites around here:

  • Atlantic County (7): Atlantic City, Buena Vista Township, Egg Harbor Township, Galloway, Hamilton Township, Hammonton and Northfield.
  • Burlington County (10): Burlington City, Chesterfield, Cinnaminson, Evesham, Hainesport, Medford, Mount Laurel, Pemberton Township, Tabernacle and Willingboro.
  • Camden County (7): Camden, Cherry Hill, Collingswood, Gloucester Township, Runnemede, Voorhees and Winslow.
  • Cape May County (3): Lower, Middle and Upper townships.
  • Cumberland County (3): Bridgeton, Millville and Vineland.
  • Gloucester County (5): Clayton, Deptford, Logan, Monroe and West Deptford.
  • Salem County (3): Elmer, Pennsville and Salem City.

The state says counties are still updating their details, so check the exact address before you get in the car: nj.gov/state/elections/vote-early-voting.shtml

Already have a mail-in ballot? Don't bring it to an early voting site. The state says mail-in ballots can't be returned there or at your polling place. Use one of your county's drop boxes, by 8 PM on Election Day. And if you got a mail-in ballot but decide to vote in person after all, the state says you can only vote on a paper provisional ballot.

Rather wait for the big day? Polls are open 6 AM to 8 PM on Tuesday, November 3.
